SPI Media is the parent company for all media activities of Europe's oldest BDSM Magazine Massad. The company behind this magazine was founded in 1977 and has been present on both the continent of Europe and on a worldwide basis for quite some time. With over 30 years of experience in the BDSM field the force behind Massad started probing the DVD market several years ago.
In cooperation with several media partners we started distribution of GwenMedia in the year 2000 in Europe and served the European market till about a year after the unfortunate death of the GwenMedia owner Bob Zak. By then we were also introducing other brands on the European market and in cooperation with Scala BV we have been a steady supplier of bondage and BDSM DVDs for the bi-annual Scala fairs. Next to that we also have been distributing various labels through our own channels. As a co-publisher of the world renowned DDI magazine we launched a series of our own called the Domina Files several years ago, DVDs with a look behind the scenes, interviews and true live sessions. This series has been going strong and will be soon followed by new releases on different themes in the fetish field. Our US partners can offer you a gateway to all the mistresses around the world through DDI magazine with its website and there is also a website with a virtual magazine about boots and everything that has to do with this fetish. In Europe we also run a seperate website based on the magazine with an extensive webshop, that hold products to satisfy any demand on this subject though some products may not be available in the US, Canada or the United Kingdom due to restrictions and regulations. Our current range holds well over a 130 different titles from various labels but we are always interested in new products and business opportunities.
